Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Delgroce Holdings (Pty) Ltd website and services, including rent-to-own agreements, vehicle rentals, and the vehicle listing program. By using our website or submitting any request, you agree to these terms.
2. Our Services
Each service is governed by a separate written agreement signed before commencement; those agreements prevail over this page where they differ. Submitting a request through this website does not create an agreement — an agreement exists only once we have confirmed approval and both parties have signed.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's licence where a service involves driving, and provide accurate information. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination.
4. Payments and Refunds
All amounts payable are set out in your signed agreement and confirmed with you before signing. No payment is requested through this website. Refunds — including deposit refunds and refunds for early returns — are handled as set out in your signed agreement and in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
5. Consent Statements
By using our platform you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Personal data collection & processing: you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data (name, email, phone, and identification information) for account creation and service delivery.
- Cookies & tracking technologies: you consent to the use of cookies as described in our Cookie Notice.
- Marketing communications: where you opt in, you consent to receiving updates about features and offers, with an unsubscribe option in every message.
- Data sharing with trusted partners: you consent to sharing data with insurers and service partners where necessary for transactions.
You may withdraw any consent at any time without penalty by contacting our Information Officer at admin@delgroceholdings.co.za (response within 5 business days). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal, and some services may not be available if certain consents are withdrawn.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Delgroce Holdings is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms: admin@delgroceholdings.co.za or +27 62 889 9750.
Rental Agreement — Summary of Standard Terms
Last updated: July 2026
1. About This Summary
This page summarises the standard terms of a Delgroce Holdings vehicle rental. The full agreement signed before collection is the binding document; where they differ, the signed agreement applies.
2. Rental Period
The rental runs from the collection date/time to the return date/time in the agreement. Extensions must be agreed before the return time; late returns without agreement are charged at the daily rate plus recovery costs.
3. Payments and Deposit
The rental fee and refundable security deposit are confirmed with you before collection. The deposit is refunded after return, less any amounts due for damage, missing fuel, traffic fines, or other charges under the agreement.
4. Fuel
Vehicles are supplied with the fuel level recorded at handover and must be returned at the same level. Missing fuel is charged at cost plus a refuelling fee.
5. Insurance and Excess
The vehicle is insured as set out in the agreement. In an accident or theft, the renter is liable for the stated excess. Cover falls away entirely where the incident involves a breach — an unapproved driver, driving under the influence, or unlawful use.
6. Condition and Return
The vehicle's condition is recorded jointly at handover and return. It must be returned in the same condition, fair wear and tear excepted, with all keys, documents, and accessories.
7. Accidents, Theft, and Breakdowns
Any accident or theft must be reported to us and to the SAPS within 24 hours, with a case number. Mechanical problems must be reported immediately; do not arrange repairs without our authorisation.
8. Prohibited Use
The vehicle may not be used for racing, towing beyond rated capacity, carrying passengers for reward unless agreed in writing, cross-border travel without written consent, unsuitable off-road terrain, or any unlawful purpose.
9. Fines and Tolls
The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, toll fees, and related administration charges incurred during the rental period.
