PAIA Manual

1. What This Is

The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) gives anyone the right to request access to records held by a private body like Delgroce Holdings (Pty) Ltd — for example, to exercise or protect a right. Private bodies are ordinarily required to make a PAIA manual available describing what records they hold and how to request access to them, unless they qualify for an exemption from this requirement.

2. Our Current PAIA Position

Delgroce Holdings (Pty) Ltd currently qualifies for the Information Regulator's exemption for certain small private bodies from compiling a formal PAIA manual. This exemption is in effect until 31 December 2026.

3. Requesting Access to Information

In the interim, requests for access to records may be directed to our Information Officer, Tiyiselani Brian Makhubele, at admin@delgroceholdings.co.za. Requests will be handled under the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000, and the fees prescribed in the PAIA Regulations.
